Lake Nickol
Leah and I took a break from research today and spent some time exploring Tuscaloosa. This photo was taken below the spillway of Lake Nickol. It's amazing how you can live somewhere for so long and still discover new things.

Lake Nicol is truly pretty. There are some other great amazing places, too. If you go on the other side of the road from the Lake Tuscaloosa spillway and walk down the dirt road aways, there is a huge waterfall where all the runoff lake water goes. If you want to be awed, go after a few days' rain.
